At Holmeswood Koi we aim to deliver the best job possible, we want to deliver the pond you have always planned on having. Not 2 ponds are the same, they are all bespoke. We carry out all building work ourselves to ensure everything is what the customer wants. Ponds can be built to customers specification, or we can plan the pond out for you.

With over 30+ years combined in the building trade we have gained various skills to undertake all stages of pond building.

When building ponds we only use the best products available to ensure everything is made to last, all the filtration recommended and used by us is supplied by ourselves sourced from trusted brands such as Oase, Tmc, Hozelock and Aqua Forte. Unless we know and have used the product before we wouldn't use them ourselves. We only like products we know that work.

Price is always asked when it comes to pond building, we usually use a rough ball part figure of £5 per gallon + Vat.

But this pricing reflects on access to the site, wether there is waste removal and many more factors.

A 13,500 Gallon concrete koi pond build and landscaped by us.
This was built from scratch using 2 bottom drains in a concrete base, walls build using solid concrete block. rendered to shape and finished in fibreglass with a black gel coat. Oase Proficlear Premium Drum filter and 3 moving bed modules, with Aquamax Eco Premium Pumps.

1000 Gallon Boxweld Liner Pond

This pond was rebuild 4x the size and gave the customers more space in there garden, so we incorporated a small patio area where they will now be able to enjoy there pond.

Simple and affordable pond using a concrete footing, concrete blocks and facing stone then a boxweld liner with a water blade. The pond also has 3 in water lights 2 wall lights and illuminated water blade.

2,300 Gallon Concrete Koi pond

This one was built start to finish by ourselves.
Concrete base, bottom drain, solid concrete walls, rendered to shape and finished in fibreglass with black gel coat. outer walls build using the same stone as existing garden walls, and filtered by an Oase Proficlear Premium Compact M, with Aquamax Eco Dry and Oase Bitron Uv

Pond Fibreglassing

This is the 13,500 Gallon koi pond after fibreglassed. We only do fibreglassing the right way be creating the perfect shape inside the pond prior to installation, and then by applying 2 layers with a 50/50 overlap to create a solid seal inside the pond.

Do you want your pond illumminated? then this can now be achieved very easily and very cheap to run with all new Led Garden and pond lighting which we can supply and install, remotely controlled with fm switches, timed or manually switched.
